Nope. Sorry Lloyd but it was Roy Hodgson who blocked the move for Vardy. We'd scouted him on a number of occasions and Roy vetoed the move on the strength of watching him in person once on a wet and windy night somewhere. There's any number of things JRP can be criticised for over the years but Albion not signing Vardy on the strength of Roy Hodgson's opinion isn't necessarily of them.Quote:
