Wycombe Wanderers F.C. 0 Charlton 0 First leg of the Sky Bet League One play-off semi
Charlton and Wycombe played a physical hard fought goalless draw in a league one battle where defences came out on top. Both teams tried their best not to make errors leading to goals.
Will Mannion, Lloyd Jones and Luke Berry all returned to the first XI. Wycombe had the best of the earlier chances with Mannion equal to a Dan Udoh powerful strike from the edge of the area after six minutes, while Fred Onyedinma headed over the crossbar from a corner.
Tyreece Campbell had a shot blocked still in the first half and Josh Edwards' long throws into the penalty area assisted Charlton's first half efforts.
In the second half, Luke Berry saw his shot blocked by Caleb Taylor and Matty Godden also had a saved effort.
The Add1cks upped the anti in the last few minutes of the half. Wycombe GK kept out a fiercely driven shot by Matty Godden and he also reacted well to Greg Docherty's close range shot from a corner. At the end Charlton had the better chances to win the game.
We now move onto the Valley on Thursday for the 2nd leg where the home crowd will hopefully roar on the team for a win to move them into the final at Wembley.
