Lee Anderson Grant (born 27 January 1983) is an English football coach and former professional footballer, who is manager of EFL League One club Huddersfield Town. No previous as a Manager, I would like to wish him good luck but as they are in our League I will not bother XD
Yeah, i saw this today and thought it was a gamble, but most people, both inside and outside our club thought Warne was the same gamble. Turned out to be our typical roller coaster ride and most of us enjoyed it. Most importantly, it brought lots of new/young supporters to the club.

It helped Warne being here, he knew the club the players.
I thought this seemed like a bit of a gamble too and it makes you wonder what the financial situation might be at Huddersfield.
Paul Warne would have seemed a more logical appointment when he was available much earlier in the process.
Warne spoke to both Huddersfield and Barnsley. He was actually offered the Barnsley job but didn't feel comfortable with the ownership situation and how much decision making power he would've had.Quote:

We moan at Tony for not spending big but I wouldn't like him to leave behind a mess such as Town are in, bigger better players or not. They are still in the same league as us after all that spending.
