Is anyone against this idea?
Just one thread dedicated to a newly signed player but keeping the incoming thread for speculation.
My thoughts are that it will be easier for people/users to see and comment on it instead of having to trawl through the larger thread.

Go for it. You could probably also use AI to autogenerate replies for a good number of our users to save them the bother of typing their usual replies of, too old, too young, too injury prone, not good enough, give 'im a chance........XD
When do you think there might be a need for it? Oops! Someone's arrived. Perhaps if I make another sarcastic comment someone else will sign.
