I think he?ll move - just mind games. I hope we don?t go for him as I don?t think he?s worth the money - you don?t see 60 million pound plus defenders getting skinned like he does nor with his aerial ability.

So the lad is clam. He's in no rush to move. Well he's obviously not really suited to be a Toon player from the above information. We need people who want to sign up to the journey and play for the vision. The money aspect unfortunately turns a lot of these payers heads, not unnaturally but it actually makes some of them a worse player in the long run as they chase money rather than the game. Not all but a few.
And I do not want to lose Barnes in a swop for Elanga. Cannot see the sense in that. Barnes was coming on strong last season.
Good player but id rather not give parish a penny and shop elsewhere instead.
