Apparently it's Louis Moult, 33 year old ex-Stoke youngster, who's knocked around a bit - last 2 seasons with Dundee Utd (21 goals in 50 odd games). Trialist in goal for second half - no word yet on who. Also Zac williams on pitch for second half ....
Mickey D, Hutchinson and Bogle ( .....!) had no minutes so far.
What about Thibaut? I only saw the 2nd half line up.
How come Tabs got a couple of goals. Has he found another new position?
Sorry, also no Lankester - guess they're easing him and Mickey in gently. LB explained Hutchinson missing bcause he's come straight from playing 22 league games in ireland, so match fit, but not trained with squad and they're assessing his cardio etc. Didn't need minutes in his legs like the others. Wasn't asked about any of the other absentees (or if Williams playing meant anything.)
I imagine Lankester will be missing until some time in September. He probably won't be 'contact training' for a few weeks.
He did reference playing the same players on Tuesday as "they're the only players he's got". If he was being literal then we have to assume all the players we mentioned are injured/unavailable.
Does anyone know if Dancey and Billington swapped roles at any stage. I really hope that Billington is not being considered as only a right back. How was Dancey, by the way?
To my mind Kidsgrove and Newcastle Town should be considered one level below the lowest point where our development/FYP players may end up on loan this season.
