Never had a connection into watching England games unless a Leeds player was involved - not really my scene sat rattling a St Georges sabre, only interested in my Leeds Utd love affair, end of.
I actually had a choice to have my baby in England but decided to have my child in France, regardless would still qualify to play football for France or England & the law with regards to my child conceived via the IVF process also allows said childs biological father birthplace to be calculated into national teams selection process too, such is life for todays footballing prospects.
My brother also had national team choices too with France, Ireland, Lithuania, Serbia & England in his case by descent & further possible 5 years residence in any future country would add another option such are footballs bizarre rules for representation of national teams nowadays.
So thats my personal take & feel of national football presently.
