Firstly, very sad to hear of this appalling news.
My best wishes to Russ and his family.
Albion legend through and through, thanks for the clean sheets.
You will never be forgotten by the Albion.
Secondly, kudos to the author.
It's amazing to see what you can achieve when you don't just copy and paste from the Daily Mail.
It says everything about this racist cesspit of a "West Brom" website when this post has one reply about an Albion legend suffering and "sadley" on his way out, but an absolute c u n t like Kirk has 30 posts missing him and his "freedom of speech", when they had never heard of him, and knows absolutely know nothing about his money making scheme of saying what he said and then using religion to get donations to his Turning Point USA.
I guess, to some degree, you have a point blood, re the numbers of posts that is. This site however is one where mostly one is allowed the freedom of speech and world affairs can often send local ones to the rear, sadly. For me, this is the first time I have looked at this site since I made my prediction for the Derby game, so did not see this thread until now.
It may be the same for others.
With regards to Russell Houlte, I am absolutely sorry to hear of his health struggles.
He should and will, I am sure, be remembered by the Albion fans for what he was. Brilliant for us.
Very sad to hear. Best wishes and thoughts to him and his family.
Russell Hoult was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) in September 2023. He was then diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer in August 2024. Sadly both cancers are now terminal and Russell is receiving palliative care.
My heartfelt sympathies lie with Russell and his family at this time of heartbreak. Thank you Russell for your services to West Bromwich Albion. When the time comes please know our memories and fondness for you and the legendary status of 'that' promotion will live on.
Sorry to hear of this. Russell is, and will always be, an Albion legend and my thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.
Sad to hear this and remember watching him week in week end. Great keeper and good with the fans especially kids.
Thoughts are with you
