George Boyd

I think I last saw George play when he appeared for Peterborough in the FA Cup at Turf Moor back in January 2020. No-one will forget his memorable goal that saw us beat Manchester City in the Premier League. He is now turning out along with a string of ex-PL players for Wythenshawe Veterans.

I've run across him quite a few times, he's a proper bloke is Boydy, no airs and graces. Me and my lad met him by chance at a hotel in Sunderland and he was brilliant with my lad who would have been about 14 at the time. B)
