Who's said anything about winning the league with a points record, personally I'm worried about relegation not promotion. And the Chelsea youth - why else would we be interested, if he can't use his influence at Chelsea to get us some good loans then there's a whole host of managers we could go for

I agree he’ll be using us as a ‘stepping stone’ Es***...but to do that he’ll have to be a success...so IF he improves his CV by getting us to a better place in the next season or two isn’t that a ‘win, win’?
As for us always thinking we’re going to ‘walk into the Premier League’...how do you work that out? Most on here and elsewhere reckoned that top six was as good as we could expect and that’s what happened. Expectations were raised by the position we found ourselves in after Christmas...nothing more than that but I guess that’s not an experience any Forest fans have been familiar with for a while.
