The City of London School fees for the academic year 2019-2020 are £6,313 per term. School lunch is provided at a cost of £278 per term. Music lessons can be taken by pupils at school at a cost of £258 per term. That's the school that Diane Abbott's son went to. You don't always get what you pay for.

Ooh a Diane Abbott reference. Yes I’d say Abbott Jrs education has, on the face of it, been poor value for money. Winchester’s fees are roughly double what you’ve just quoted.

I’d also say that the results of a poor value education are somewhat more common in the Tory party. But of course I would say that.
