I think it's a good thing the younger players are getting their chance to bed in right now whilst there are no crowds in to add pressure. I don't think this fact will be lost on Micky either, more good management.

Let's not forget this was a team we were expected to lose to and we did but in an acceptable manner unlike the past.
For sheer workrate yday, like pretty much the whole team I scored Harkes 8+ out of 10
In games where we would expect to win or at least draw then Harkes scores would vary and quite often be round the 5 or worse mark, more consistency and creativity needed to be a relied on as a 7 minimum.
We can rely on our defence and Butcher to get 7/10 every week now, Benji and Robson especially, the rest need to get to that.
Some young uns will be rightly given time but the likes of Harkes and Pawlett have had enough time and need to start influencing the game in a creative sense
You miss my point, Harkes needs to be doing that more often against teams we expect to get something from, he has frustrated so far in those games, maybe this will give him the confidence, I hope it does because we cant keep saying that he has the potential.
FYI anything against them would have been a bonus and let's be honest we would have been well chuffed with a point
Just a wee thank you to the boys who posted during the match,i do not have a smartphone and i had to look after a relative who has no internet over the weekend.
It was good to read back over the game for a catch up on what happened.
Connolly got MOTM for his performance against the best striker/player in the SPFL,i don't mean our MOTM,i mean the MOTM in the Scottish Sun.How can that even be possible?
agree with this. That was the most competitive we have been against Celtic for a long long time. Great to see such effort and the lads runing themselves into the ground. what a difference. There may not be a borrowload more goals with shanks back in the team but we dont need a barrowload if we are not conceding much at the back. His ability to create his own chances plus his predatory instructs could see these 1-0 defeats turn into draws and our draws into wins.
Any word on how he is recuperating?
