And for the record I voted for an independent who lived and worked in the wentworth and rawmarsh constituency other than an mp with no affiliation to the area that the tories put on. And did I vote the white flag wavers of John Healy, nope why would o vote for my daughter to be gang raped by the groomers party in years to come.

That's the thing though Fire. Those supporting Corbyn argued that his policies were not extreme - would you agree with them?

Maybe it is defined by how we see politics - if you are on the extremes you will not see extreme policies that way, very few identify as extreme left/right?

Which Tice/Reform UK policies would you say were liberal? I would have thought their stance on dinghies would delight the red wall voters and tory membership fringes but equally and more appal the centrist bulk of floating conservative voters who will go to Lib Dems or even a centreist Starmer

Sunak doing the right thing making it illegal to strike. People wanting a extra £3 a hour is costing the economy hundred off millions.

What population does a town need before it warrants its own hospital?

Ie not needing travel to the nearest town or city that has one?

Scrapping the House of Lords. Scrapping interest on student loans. Nationalising utilities. Labour type policies.
And lifting the threshold where the basic rate of income tax is paid from £12,500 to £20,000 would help poorer people too.

That's fine , however for balance then we need to cap dividend payments to shareholders at the same percentage rate as wage settlements .

Whilst also capping corporate pay at wage settlement levels .

Not a fan of taking legal action against strikers

Might just persuade me if it was truly restricted to essential services, but I doubt that it would.

The only winners would be the solicitors and barristers of our multi level court system when such actions drag through the legal system

You're right that Corbyn supported most of these but you say that these are just liberal policies but Corbs was extreme left??!

I think we both know that the majority of people switching to Reform UK are not really interested in these policies though, any more than they were when Corbyn put forward these policies.

Indeed the bit where Boothy said offering decent pay rises takes money out of the economy did have me wondering too .

Presumably he understands if there's more money in people's pockets they spend that money which then boosts the economy .
