We looked decent for 5 to 10 minutes when Watkins and Palmer came on and we attacked.
As soon as we scored we went back to being defensive and Watkins seemed to play how Kane had been ergo it must be a tactical thing as much as a player thing.
Spain played some fantastic fluid football and fully deserved to win. It didnt seem to matter which players were on the pitch they all knew the system and there was no noticeable drop off when subs came on.
Spain more than worthy winners, somehow we reached the final, whilst only playing well for spells in all games, score could have been 4-1. Spain replace Rodri for second half, his replacement Zubimendi even more effective in CM

Was really pleased we lost, 'cos had we fluked it he would have been lauded and told he's the best English manager EVER and would have been here for at least one more tournament.

I didn’t even realise forename was on the pitch in the second half, he had 45 minutes of good football against the Dutch and that was it, Spain were fluent, we weren’t, could have been 4-1 easily, it’s got to be the manager as they don’t play garbage for their clubs.
Kane has been sh1t all tournament but Safegate continued to pick him.
Watkins and Palmer did more in their sub cameo appearances than Kane did whole tournament!
Impressive CV at international level but when you look at the squad he has had we really should have at least 1 Euro Trophy in the cabinet.
The international Managers Daniel Farke is what Gareth Safegate is.
Yeah I know the Euros are gone now, so let's move on etc.
I wish Gareth all the best in what he does next, and I hear he's looking for a top Prem club.
