For me to even suggest you go and work for a basket case run by the big man was bang out of order. :star:
I have been doon this road before but never again,i mean falling out with people on here when in truth its no their fault or mine that the team we support are shyte. What i really hate about this side is the lack of effort from SOME of them.I think it was Middleton i saw yesterday give the ball away about 30 yards from the ET,Killie broke away at breakneck speed but he just jogged back,FN soul destroying watching such a lack of effort.
A decent manager would motivate the side (that doesn't mean kicking backsides necessarily, though it might, look at Courts, he wasn't a hard man manager, but def had the players believing in him/playing for him), and make decent in match management choices, which is Fox's worst attribute.
Problem is all that can be undone by one bit of incompetent goalkeeping as was seen yesterday, which was the difference between two awful sides. And any new manager is going to be hamstrung by an unbalanced squad, not least our scouting department and last two managers thinking the answer to a defensive mid was Sibbald and Djoum. No amount of screaming in your face is going to turn Middleton or Fletcher into goalscorers, cure the injury woes of Pawlett (crazy contract extension), or turn our keeper from Kelham O'hanlon to Ben Siegrist. An astute manager could certainly maximise the cards we are dealt with however.
Surely to god for all the investment in the youth there must be some talent we can tap into on our books, I'd have been recalling players from loan, all hands on deck, then again, we have guys on the bench that the manager never picks anyway, so would be as well away from the club.
