I'm not surprised at all tbh. He was practically begging for the job a couple of weeks ago in a press conference. From what i gather LW has wanted out for about 2 months. I was told he applied for the Oxford job, and it was them that turned him down.
What happens if the talks don't go well, does he just come back here, it would be a bit strange.
