Agree with this. But I do think he was somewhat off his own exceptionally high standards yesterday. Doesn't make him a bad player by any means, but surely we want competition for places.

a DC poor game is better than most players good game , The trouble is it stands out more because of his exceptional qualities when he's on it!

Anyway, I have watched it now and Crowley played a great pass inside the full back in the build up to the first goal, a pass I have not seen used for ages. Abbots turn and pass to McG for the second was wonderful.
By his own standards, I think McG will be disappointed not to have the hat trick with the volley at the end.
We're remarkably lucky to be watching football of this standard in the 4th Division
We complain about referees decisions but has anyone seen the Brighton penalty v Arsenal?
A ridiculous decision.
Anything from Sky or ITV is geoblocked. As I mentioned, you can get the highlights a few hours later from our opposition (we delay putting them on YouTube to get people onto piesplayer).
Here are the extended highlights.

Crowley played that pass many times when Nemane was playing but Austin isn't as quick as him so it's not always on.
Wasn't it great to see that ''Carthorse'' McGoldrick put in that man of the match performance yesterday?
A class act from a class guy.
For me it was up there as one of Didzy's finest performances for us. The quality and class is still there at 37 years of age. He has clearly looked after himself well over his career and is a great consummate professional and role model for the younger members in the squad.
He is now at the 10 goal stage halfway through the season as well which is fantastic. Only two behind Jatta who is joint second top goalscorer in League Two. So we potentially have two 20 goal a season strikers in the team this season.
Credit to SM and the management team as well who have found a way to enable Jatta and McGoldrick to both play together. I feel they have cemented a good partnership in this five game period.
