Absolutely. Given that the title of this thread is “Chopping block” and not “Manager given time to turn things around”, I would never complain if a manager moves on to a bigger opportunity as long as things are done the right way.
I wonder if Wycombe might in turn look to get Mat Sadler from Walsall, though he’s just signed a new contract until 2028.
Barrow are another L2 club with a new manager:
“Barrow have appointed Solihull Moors boss Andy Whing as their new head coach on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The 40-year-old replaces Stephen Clemence after the former Tottenham Hotspur and Birmingham City midfielder was sacked on Saturday.”
Ian Evatt (Bolton W ) apparently been sacked after last night's home defeat to Charlton.
Report from The Southend Echo.
Wealdstone appoint new head coach .
Neil Gibson , former Wales U21 coach.
Mr.Saunders not the new head coach then.
Mike Williamson fired by Carlisle.
Exactly - whoever comes in now has to work with a lot of newbies signed specifically to fit Williamson’s style of play. If Swansea pull the trigger tomorrow who’d be surprised if Luke Williams gets snapped up quickly by Carlisle. (I hope so for Scott’s sake if nothing else).
