Very good. It is funny but also incisive.

The arrogance of the Peps of this world (regardless of his success and possibly being a decent bloke he is a complete control freak) is permeating down the pyramid where the coach has become king and the players merely the equivalent of those in a mobile version of Casdon Soccer. It is choreography, where the dancers have to be in a certain place depending on where the ball is and who has possession. The game today was terrible in all aspects other than the players, generally but with exceptions, were basically competent but incredibly dull. Mind you some people like American football for the very reasons that Soccerball is dying.

It's becoming the equivalent of the caddy being in charge of the golfer who just carries out his instructions.

If we don't go up and lose in the play offs then I fully expect him to proudly push the point (well into next season) that he improved us by 7+ places, conveniently overlooking the fact we were 6th when he took over, not 14th as we were at the end of the season.
It will be the equivalent of a weightlifter's trainer removing all the weights, then the weightlifter lying down and strenuously lifting the pole with nothing on it and his trainer then boasting he's made him stronger.

They'll win the league, the run they've been on since losing 3-0 at Meadow Lane in December has been incredible but just shows what can be done.
