I know its only one game & things can change in the blink of an eye but after last night it got me thinking about the dee as a club & their supporters. I have good mates who are blue noses & Ive never been too bothered by what goes on at Dens but that changed after 'that derby'. They revelled in it & really believed we were finished & they were taking over as top dogs. Well guess what - you blew it. Chance of a lifetime but yet again while you are in your beds Utd take on & beat a good side in European competition again. Live on tv. Big noisy, enthusiastic crowd, fan displays, marching en masse to the ground & an owner & staff doing their best to deliver a competitive team. It must be a familiar, sickening kick in the guts to the dees There will be ups & downs but that kind of effort matched with the skills they have will see us ok. Well done Utd.
Only one thing to add: FTD
Still the small club in the city .FTD
Saw this on Twitter from a Raith fan
Was it disappointing to lose to Dundee? Of course it was! Was it mitigated by seeing Paul McGowan’s new hairline in real life, which now starts at the back of his neck? Yes, yes and yes again!
Mr Mackie trying to keep in with his fellow Dees with a dig at our support after last Thursday and the attendance on Sunday:
"They must be the only team in the world that could win what they class as their biggest game in years then lose 4000 fans and shut their shed end 3 days later"
To$$er.
The attendance on Saturday was 7400 so Peter's arithmetic is as good as the Marr's.
They would love to have our numbers.
In a Kevin Keegan kind of way
