Maynard GONE [Official]

Two things worth noting. On Maynard, things seemed to have really changed after Saunders left. Coincidence?? So maybe the plan for promotion would have worked if he'd had the sidekicks he came with. Hardly an experiment that went wrong when two staff left for something that never could have been seen coming.
As for wanting Williams back, why? He was quick to leave, not exactly acting loyal while at Swansea when the WBA job came up and therefore could not be trusted to stay long if things went well again. No thanks from me.

Exactly my thoughts about LW. Fat Sam is the evil Judas but some are quite happy to unbuckle their belt for LW!

Fat Sam left in the wrong way. Whilst LW perhaps allowed himself to be tapped up ("Chairman came over to my house"), he didn't resign and we got a hefty fee (possibly because of the way Swansea conducted business)

I'd take Williams back. He'd do so much better with the better quad than what we had. Maynard was a step backwards in my opinion.
The name I'm hearing bandied about is Brian Priske, after watching some of his past interviews, I'd be okay with him.

I'm happy having a manager that clubs two divisions above us paid a fee to sign. He moved on to a higher paying job, which would enhance his reputation. Fair play.

Sam stiffed us out of a fee by slipping a note under the door in the dead of night, only to be unveiled four days later, despite denying his interest to the club's board. It's about having a bit of class.

Yes, different circumstances but same end result. They both jumped without a second thought, and I get the "Anyone would do the same" type remarks but what's to stop him doing the same again?

And then admitted in his book that he resigned so Bolton wouldn't have to pay compensation.
At least Luke Williams went about it the right way.
However it was really annoying how Williams was constantly being linked with other clubs, it felt like every week.

Does anyone think the Brian Priske rumour has legs? He seems somewhat out of our league and strikes me as a coup if realistic. 57.59% is quite some win percentage too!

I appreciate it's rare for us in recent times, but that's what happens when you have a successful period. Bigger clubs want to sign your best players or take your manager.

I'll take that over us being absolutely rotten every day of the week.
