Think it’s gone pear shaped myself I have no evidence to support that just a feeling I suppose and will gladly come on here to apologise if wrong but everyone MT Paul Davis and other news outlets quite clearly stated Thursday was the day it was not us the fans

Just because we might have been successful with the work visa doesn’t mean he becomes our player that day.

The formal transfer of the player from his current employer and monies to be paid to them have to be made.
Then the contract between the player and RUFC has to be finalised.
Some of this paperwork may have been drafted in anticipation of the visa but due process still has to take place. Slovan Liberec might have lost interest a bit and it also involves a foreign club which could both delay things further

I hope I’m right or there’s some other reason and it hasn’t gone pear shaped.

A dodgy website is saying he’s signing for Metz but I can’t see it as I’m sure we’ve protected ourselves with a pre contract agreement that excludes other interested parties and also prevent Jesus changing his mind

No need to apologise Uttis. Your 'just a feeling' is born out of years of experience of being frustrated in the transfer window. Hopefully Christ will miraculously materialise tomorrow and we'll forget all the angst!!
