No fans of any club like to admit it but it's possible we've been turned down by first choice targets, or they're waiting to see if their first choice club offers them a deal. It's just the way it is.
Hopefully things will develop soon.

Alan Temple saying on Twa Teams podcast up to 5 new faces in by the end of next week.
It was the end of the f*cking week 3 weeks ago, sick to f*ck of reading that signings are done deals or imminent and then nothing. Someone on EF saying players have been in the building all week, medicals done, terms agreed so why the f*ck are we still waiting to hear anything? Come on to f*ck United!
I think we will get a batch of signings next few days, and then will be dribs and drabs after that, some of our best signings were loan signings last season, they usually come late.
Key loans like Dalby, Stephenson and Adegboyega all arrived after the Aug 4th derby opener
I'm still feeling relaxed although a bit more impatient than two weeks ago as expected 4-5 in by now but not like the manager and everyone isn't working on these things as he said in the courier
I just want us to get the right ones in ultimately
Only issue is our first competitive game the last two years we weren't ready (Spartans and Falkirk) , we need to be this time and have an extra ten days compared to then
Yeah when it comes to loan players we don't control the timeline. Until the parent club makes a decision about their player and sometimes that involves other players coming in then we have to, beyond making enquiries, bide our time.
If we do get 5 in next week that will be 7 new players in before the kick off + any loans we bring in before the transfer window shuts.
