He was first half but as EP said he was marked/forced out of it in the second.
Wooton is just going through the motions.

Agreed, they certainly paid Roberts close attention in the second half but he was the only attacking spark we had. Wootton has been poor for weeks and, I agree with Elite, Ruben was actually trying too hard yesterday. Despite the support IB gave him after the match, I do think he needs to have a quiet word with Ruben re channelling his efforts in the right direction. He could very easily have been red carded yesterday, which would have completed the perfect day for Notts!
Yeovil stats now up . . . https://www.nottscountystats.com/pos...-yeovil-town-h
That’s not what I said. Ruben was clearly making an effort yesterday which is probably why IB defended him in his post match interview. He just needs to be more streetwise. Ruben may not be in the best of form, at present, but he’s no use to us suspended and sitting in the stands.
Interesting hightlights, loads of chances AGAIN! That header back was dreadful, why choose that option? Having said that though Rawlinson had no idea there was a player behind him, schoolboy defending!
Class header from Lacey though.
Loads of chances and some good chances at that as well as couple of fine saves from their keeper.
Yes a costly mistake from Francis no doubt but with the amount created it shouldn't have mattered. Like the Halifax game the failure to take chances is the main reason again for the 2 dropped points.
Talking of schoolboy defending, how Yeovil defended that long floating delivered free kick was awful. No excuse for losing a big centre half in the centre of the area for a free header like that especially with everyone back.
That missed header from Reuben looked bad at the time but it’s truly awful - he did well to put it that far wide when it seemed easier to score. Is that three sitters he’s missed in similar fashion this season? As for their goal, horrible mistake by Francis but it was an excellent finish by their guy.
