It means a fond farewell to Ambrose, Rubi, Richard Jensen, McGarry & Duncan. I would also say that Pape for me would be gone as he's very prone to slowing the play down and think the start he had to this season won't be replicated sadly.

Add in Boyd, Bavidge, Emslie, Marshall and that appears to be a well balanced squad with square pegs in square holes, a blend of youth with experience and skill coupled with graft.

Without getting into specific individuals agree we don?t need a wholesale clear out again. Most of those who will be leaving have already been replaced.

Some fans seem to want another clean sweep of the team again with virtually everyone pre Thelin out.

I don?t want a rake of signings that keep aforementioned young laddies out on loan.

Whilst I agree a LB is needed think Taylor would be well beyond our wage structure.

Thanks f*ck fans don't run fitba clubs as we would have no players left.

It should be an interesting window this summer and I am sure there will be surprises both in and out.

Taylor isn't happening though, but fair play if it does. I'd imagine he would be on a five figure weekly wage and would expect a fair signing on fee. No chance we are competing with that. He has been linked with a move abroad and if that doesn't happen I am quite sure there will be a few clubs south of the border who will happily take him.

In other news, a few stories on Twitter the MacKenzie has signed a deal for someone, but is all very low key and no club has been named.

Whoever is saying or thinking we need another massive turnover of players in the summer needs a reality check.

We have made some good signings this season and will probably make 4 or 5 this summer.

If we do make it into Europe next season I think you need at least 8 homegrown players in the squad so we may have to make most of our signings Scottish ones.

Nisbet and Taylor would be good signings but they might be out of our price range.

I read the Millwall chairman saying that he wouldnt be looking to recoup the entire ?1.5 million they paid for Nisbet.

That would be achievable for us but I doubt we would be willing to pay him or Taylor over ?10k a week on wages so they would have to be willing to take a pay cut.

How many players do we have here on loan at the moment, and how many of our own are out of contract in the summer?
That will give an indication of what we will be primarily focusing on in the next window.
