Gilbert cannot increase the price of the milk he sells, which is set by the local co-op. He cannot feed his cows less food. But Trump’s voters really believed him when he said that foreign countries would be the ones paying his tariffs. It never made sense, but they believed it. And now, Gilbert’s expenses are so high, he may soon be out of business.

They pointed to Wednesday's 9.5% gain for the S&P 500, a major stock index, and an immediate 18% jump in the price of a share of Tesla, co-founded by Trump aide Elon Musk, who publicly opposed the tariffs in a feud with Trump's trade advisor.

"The president, his family, and his advisors are uniquely positioned to be privy and take advantage of non-public information to inform their investment decisions," Schiff and Gallego wrote.

The US has continued to move more and more heavy equipment in the Middle East, including B-52 bombers and F-35s as well as increased naval strikes in the Persian Gulf area in an attempt to pressure Iran into giving up its nuclear ambitions. No country in the world would move these sorts of military assets to a region unless they were seriously about to use them. More US taxpayers dollar down the drain. :blue:

Some fund managers are questioning US President Donald Trump's rationale as his inconsistent trade policies wreak havoc on the financial markets.

Tom Lee, head of research at FSInsights, expressed concerns in a note on Wednesday morning, before Trump softened his stance on tariffs against U.S. trading partners. "In the last few days, we have had many conversations with macro fund managers," Lee wrote.

"And their concern is that the White House is not acting rationally, but rather on ideology. And some even fear that this may not even be ideology," he continued. "A few have quietly wondered if the President might be insane."

Stock markets go up, stock markets go down, and despite my admiration for President Trump, even I do not believe he can predict market movements with any accuracy. I noticed last week he was accused of 'insider trading' by hysterical Demtards when he said it was a good time to buy shares, well of course it was, the Dow had fallen a long way and as any fool knows, the most basic premise in stock trading is 'Sell high, Buy low'. Hardly giving away any secrets was he.
