The subs were coming on anyway at the moment they scored. The bigger problem was the lack of options on the bench. SM said the players were tired in the last 10 minutes, but the fact he didn’t make any more changes despite that says a lot about his faith in Edwards, Hinchy, Johnson and Cisse. The bench is where you can see how the injuries (still no Sam Austin - we’ve missed his energy levels) and average recruitment of squad players have damaged our season.Quote:
