Massive celebrations on the Pittodrie pitch, the away dressing room and in the city's pubs on Saturday as The Dees secured top 6 which is a once in a blue moon event. With that top 6 trophy safely secured in the bowels of TheAuldHunStand the EPL/EFL All Stars went toe to toe with their big cousins and secured a massive point in their push for a euro spot next season.
Its just a shame that none of the 11 loan signings will be able to strut their stuff on the european stage wearing the famous dark blue next season.
..you have to admit that they have had a real decent season. If/when we get promoted, we are gonna have to go some to get a team that is gonna challenge them next season. For me, finishing above Dundee should be our target next season....even if that means the top 6 or the play offs. I would imagine both teams are gonna have a pretty big overhaul at the end of this season.
They have done ok, they've signed lots of players, added to the 2-3 good players they have but can't see any real standout wins as such, conceded lots of goals, given away lots of leads, only really hearts and killie have had what you call good league seasons, hence yet again the fun will not finish top 4, they managed top 6 under Hartley first season up in 2015 too so not sure what the big deal is, 4 6th place finishes in 24 seasons of split if they don't end up above the buddies
Utd are on 10 (3rd x1 4th x4 5th x4 6th x1)
I doubt Dundee have anything to fear when Utd come up. Dundee being a top 6 team and have just matched Rangers
