VAR. yes a total feck up shambles particularly in Scotland by all over world. Just another small but significant indicator of the mass surveillance on our way and how easy it is to get you to comply with shyte. Every one just accepts.
I agree all the above. We are rudderless, spineless and yes as stated above everyone including the staff and dugout should be on the park and all over the officials at situations like that.
Tannadice should NOT be a welcoming place for visitors or officials - at any time - if someone entering the ground has anything except tangerine specs then they should be treated as an opposition. End of. That extends to SFA, other clubs, refs associations etc. We make it too comfy....

It's not VAR per se that's the issue. It's the long tradition we have in Scotland for terrible, amateur, referees.
-
I think the posse makes a good point,it is a crass imposition from above, and one that is spoiling fans pleasure of the game
Preston on the radio yesterday was yet again doing his dinger about it
The other big "improvement" was of course all seated stadia

It'll never happen but I think some explanation of how the decisions are reached (in the context of the actual rules which most fans and pundits don't really know) may help. For instance, down south yesterday Wolves never got a penalty and I've no idea why. 🤔

Yip..the only way for it to work properly is to mic up the refs like in rugby!
-
At end of the day it's just down to terrible referees making terrible decision s. All var does is amplify their inadequacies. Twice the pain, cha ce for two useless refs between them to get it wrong instead of right. They are incapable of interpreting slowed down replays in real conditions.
-
We need foreign refs, get these Scottish ones away to feck. Good point to have the ref mic up just like in rugby, transparency. Bring back three subbies only in a game, with the exception if your keeper gets injured you are allowed to bring on your reserve keeper. Get Transfer Windows away to phuck. Bring back the reserve league none of this bs B teams playing in the lower leagues. Have an individual from each side who is able to speak to the ref and the other sides indivdual at looking at incidents on the monitor and whether they should be looked at.

Good to see the club standing up for themselves and the rest of the league on this one. The entire country can see its a f*cking shambles and we shouldn't just sit back and accept it.
-
It's funny. Without VAR we all know this went on week in week out but it's been properly publicised each time now so the pressure to do something will build.
Ultimately the SFA will need to accept there is a problem with the quality of refereeing and it's really difficult to see that happening. You never know and us if good to see United at least attempt to get a discussion going on it.
You just know the result of all this will simply be to take VAR away though. 🤔
