Only two negatives for that game and a lot of positives.

The negatives. Clark. I don't intend to waste more keyboard time on him.
Team bullying. United need to bully referees en mass at every opportunity, put pressure on, don't allow refs to make such easy shyte decisions against us. Yesterday saw a couple of united players booked for first fouls, but Hagi, Morales and the big guy at the centre were at it all day and got nothing. The team needs to team up.........

Positives were regarding the young boys coming through, I bet many are sore today but they can be proud of the effort, application and discipline they put in yesterday. Well done.

OK 3 negatives. Appere really didn't even make an impact as an impact player yesterday.

Are the young boys, the new metaphorically Fergie’s ‘Class of 92.’ Few better players around them and just might be so?

Well done TC for being brave on that front even though forced upon him.

Clark is a penalty box striker and nothing else. Shankland was and is a far better player!

Carson agin looked solid.

The obvious big problem between now and end of season is it doesn’t matter how we play, if we can’t score goals, we aren’t going to pick up points, and eventually we are going to be pulled into a relegation fight. Our goals to games ratio in league is appalling.

That’s the bottom line. The defence is still playing well (bar the Celtic nonsense) - highlighted by the fact that it’s been two penalties we’ve lost to in the last two games and otherwise in both games (including yesterday) the opposition never really looked like scoring.BUT we now haven’t scored a league goal since Appere scored against Coonty and sorry Thomas but that is completely unacceptable. It’s incredible that this run hasn’t had a more serious impact on our league position but if we don’t get the finger out over Xmas/New Year starting with Hibs, then that’s about to change rapidly. I think we’ve got a really favourable run of fixtures coming up(including Coonty at Tannadice first game after the break) - IMO we need to be targeting 10 points from this lot.

Not just us, naebody's scoring goals.

Point I'm making is EVERY club is looking for better strikers than what they've got.

One goal in five games says it all. The only team that's scoring less than us right now is the team at the bottom of the league. You'd like to think McNulty & Biamou, if played together, can bring us some good fortune in front of goal. They've done it before. We don't need to be scoring barrow loads as we have points on the board, but one in five is unacceptable. We'd scored six in the five games before that.

The key thing is the defence is holding up. It means if we do eventually get some goals there is a fair chance points will follow.

That was the key yesterday Edwards and Mulgrew being available. The way we have playing lately with no creativity going forward bringing the young players in wasn't a particular handicap because they played with energy and drive.
