The same person who told me 100% accurate things before reckons wilder went back on his word. TS thought he had him lined up but he changed his mind.

I said I thought that was what happened at the time (actually it came from someone who probably knew).
He said it wasn't Colin who changed his mind so it was probably Wilder.
However, the problem I have with the situation is that it made absolutely no sense for TS to sack Taylor when he did, tell us he did it because he is the custodian of the club, that there were 30 games left and he wanted to give the new man time to turn things round.
Why do that and say that if he hadn't got the new man actually signed up? It makes absolutely no sense and is amateurish in the extreme.
Obviously there was no Plan B either and in case he hasn't noticed there will probably only be a maximum of 27 games left for the new man to turn things round.
