So are you happy to think it might lead to Vaughan getting more starts?

No. I don't want any of them to start. I would like to see a new midfield alltogether, like I have been saying since September. The sooner both are away from this club, the sooner things might improve

How Vaughan gets near the starting line-up is beyond me... he was out for a stroll today. Dreadful.

So would I, in fact I would like to see a new squad altogether. Because we are in the real world however, we can't have that so tell us what midfield you would have started with today.

IMO Vaughn's legs have gone, but there were far worse than him on the pitch today. At least he managed a few successfully completed passes.

A plastic chair and a coat hanger stuck in the ground as these items would have been more mobile and put in a stronger tackle than Vaughan and Hewitt

His legs have most definitely gone which begs the question, why the hell did we sign him?
He does at least have an eye for a pass, but we need someone who's going to get involved and not just going through the motions.

Does he? His history suggests he should have passing ability, but all I've seen so far are simple square passes or misplaced passes to the opposition. He contributes absolutely nothing to the team.
