"I suppose I'm just so used to the way it is now that I wouldn't welcome any changes that I don't think are necessary"
What if they brought in a new rule saying that any one with the first Sam and lastname Alladryce can never manage an English football team ever again. >;)

Ahhh, but I think you'll agree with me when I say that that particular rule would be EXTREMELY necessary! XD
I wouldn't even wish the negative, arrogant, fat headed hoofball w@nker on the Yids or the Pikeys :(

That would soon **** up old school managers like Allardyce.
Revert back to 2 points for a win and the game would be very dull imho.
when i was president of our local football club, we hosted a seven-a-side pre-season tournament, where we gave three points for a win, two points for a score draw, and one point for a scoreless draw.
many of the comments following this suggested that the majority of players and fans would like to have seen that points system implemented in the regular comp.
it would also force dinosaurs like allardyce to come up with strategies to score, as opposed to the one single strategy he has at the moment.
re: 2 points or 3 points ?????
Well quite ambitious to think 33/34 points will be enough. I think we need another 7 points out of a remaining 27.
Realistically, 38 points will be safe this season.

Good fishing.
re: 2 points or 3 points ?????
Palace have 28 points with a much worse goal difference than us. If they beat us it will be 1-0. They can then lose the rest
Fulham to beat Palace. Lose the rest.
Cardiff to beat Palace. Lose the rest.
So we've got enough already Sam. Experiment. Play on the floor. Pass and move. You know it makes sense.
re: 2 points or 3 points ?????
Tbh I don't think the change from 2 to 3 points for a win made a huge difference. But it does mean a team that goes on a 4 match winning run (as we did recently) can move up the table quite rapidly.
Can't see there'd be any advantage whatsoever going back to 2 points for a win. Bonus points for a certain number of goals could be worth a try though.
