Eh up, lads, long time since I posted (lazy b*gger that I am !!) but just thought I would add my tuppeny-worth on the subject in hand.
I have to say that I agree with virtually 100% of Alto's O/P which just about summarises the attitude of our current Directors with regard to their apparent lack financial support for Dyche in acquiring the 3 or 4 better than average players he needs to give us a fighting chance of maintaining our Premier League status beyond this season.
I fully accept that transfer fees at the moment are ludicrous , McCormack being the classic example but, if what I was told about our to-ing and fro-ing with West Bromwich Albion over the proposed transfer of Craig Dawson to BFC were true then there is no hope for us. We know Jeremy Peace, the Chairman of WBA is a latter day Bob Lord, but to be offering 50,000 pound increases in our offer when WBA wanted 2.5million to let this young 24 year old cental defender join us says it all really.
