And take one, the skates on Friday that donated to a good cause, if they were skates then they were very generous.Quote:

How on earth has Isis been let to roam around taking over large swathes of the countries that we went to war to supposedly
There was a magnificent programme on the Beeb on Saturday night from the poet Simon Armitage. Certainly no glorification of war there. Imo the most moving out of all the WW1 programmes I have seen this year. - view external linkQuote:

A senior face involved with the old 657 had talks with oppos in the Scum crew and both agreed it was out of order.
Some thing in life are sacred and the memories of all who were involved in all conflicts from both cities is one of them
Mutual admiration is a good thing

As the ground is well saturated, would now be an opportune time to plant out nursery-grown wallflowers? :D

My I say that my post has nothing at all to do with any football hooligan ****s and the pompey fans I refer to donated to a charity.
"657 crew and scum crew" get a life, middl
TBH BC & no offence but I'm not interested in the whys & wherefor's. Its a terrific gesture by both sets of fans (ref what souths said about some of ours) & I was happy to applaud it when it was announced yesterday.
TBH the 70's & 80's crews belong back in those decades for me.
Apart from that good to see you yesterday in The Rutland & good to see the Minder looking so well.
South's/The Yak or others
I don't think either of you understood my post.
Merely stating the facts.
I have my own opinion of Football Hooligans so don't imply or infer I condone it and in fact the 1980's was a period I seldom attended went
As some on here know I have had personal experience of the impact of Football violence so don't imagine I glorify it either.
Likewise the awful pre game incident at Wetherspoons on Sat which I am happy to say I avoided was unnecessary especially as it was on Remembrance day.
