I was awoken by one of the dogs screaming, after the cat decided tonight was the night for dominance. The other one yapped, but didn't take him on. They know the cats off limits, but this situation seems to have been exploited by the cat.
However, the dogs will laugh. Them and me are off to the girlfriends later and the cat is outside all day, XD XD XD
Man will always be dominant, because we have oppose-able thumbs. ;D
