I take your point but he could also be making them think what they had done was acceptable and it wasnt.Quote:

I was at the game and could have sworn Ojamma had a cracking shot just wide when the score was 0-0, also Sutton had another strike at goal in the first half. In the second half we also had a few shots at goal albeit not very threatening, however it's better to have a balanced view of thing
I am willing to give our new manager a chance to get his own men in, but it worries me when he says McManus was " a colossus " against Aberdeen on Sunday. That truly worries me - McManus is an overpaid heap of c**p. He is no leader, he gave away the goal on Sunday and does not show the effort required for the fight ahead - he should be dumped asap. Extending O'Brien's loan - OMG!!!! He's as bad as McManus - we need a totally new defence -it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this. There must have been better centre-halfs available than what we have!!!!!!

OK he's not having the best of seasons but he is carrying an injury. Add to that that we don't normally play with full backs operating in full backs' normal positions; we had a 17 year old making his debut on the wrong side and we had virtually no midfield cover and what there is so deep that it gets in your way you can see its not easy being a centre back at Fir Park.
The old adage best form of defence is attack is our only hope when we have little or no money for new players. If you have the lowest scoring team in the league, when you are defending all the time 20-25 yards from your goal there is no way you are going to score more goals than your opponents hence our position in the league. We have to get the back four up to the halfway line and close the distance between them, midfield and forwards as whats the point of doing what we do every warm up before a game of having the starting ten outfield players playing in small areas playing short sharp passes and then going into a game punting high balls or long balls.Iknow we would have to be fit to play the short game I wish for but at least closing the game down would give us a chance of getting in the faces of our opponents.:/
