True, so we need to sell along the way. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and looking back we maybe should've accepted £11m for Rhodes from Hull in Aug.Quote:

Also we don't want to be sacking the manager, then having to pay more comp. And then pay comp to another manager coming in. And there is nobody about.
The thing the manager is getting wrong is that we have very good (and well blooded) youngsters that have all returned from successful loan periods. And are no worse than the senior players at is point. S

I look at Rhodes goals and last season he mostly scored his before RG came into the side. And this season he has scored when the other hasn't played, or had an off day. I hope he forms a better partnership with Brown. I do feel we are better off holding onto Rhodes who will come back into regular goal scoring form soon enough, that I'm sure of that. Rudi, it's not sour grapes, but the sell on value and the fact I think his goals for us had dried up, it's a better bet to get the sale done. But I do go back to the young lads. Let's just try them bit by bit until the season is out and see where we are then. We either start with Dunn for the first 60 mins (as he's still one of the best players in the div) or bring him on for the last half hour of games. Especially home matches. Playing him for 5 mins like at Wigan is pointless for him, the team and everyone concerned. They must start playing the young lads for these pointless 5 mins if he insist on it.

I also agree with champs however I feel we as a team would benefit more reverting back to 4-5-1
Rhodes scores more from it(even if he looks lost for most of it)and with the option of a defensive midfielder adds stability to a fragile defence
I also fully agree with Dunn a crucial player ruined by 5 minute cameos start with or as you say a last 30 surge.
The youth who have returned really need to be utilised soon or lose real talent for nothing o Connell is a prime example rave reviews when he has gone out on loan is he seriously any worse than the couple of carthorses we usually play
When you look through our reserves there is massive hope in the future but if not used as you say for even for the 5 minutes here and there they will stagnate and disappear.
I will just add on the manager front even though most of us want bowyer to succeed but as a team we are nothing more than mid table on current form there is Mcdermott and Atkins both of which I feel would be better at getting the tale
Just had a look at the cast list for post production champs and it looks fantastic I really hope they can do justice to a truly classic series which was pure comedy genius. - view external linkQuote:

Very rarely, if ever do, 're makes' get anywhere near close enough to the originals.
We could go on all day (on a separate post of course), over our own personal memorable favourites.
There are ones that you enjoy watching over and over and they still delight.
Way up there for me (TV wise) is The Likely Lads, just maybe top. And keeping with the theme: Nostalgia the excellent sequel Whatever happened to...
How many of us today can really relate to Bob and Terry reminiscing (in the Fat Ox normally)over what o

I do see your worry Despair, I also recall that Likely Lads remake. This appears to have a touch of class to it, as reflected in the actors they have in. And it's a classic British comedy we need to be precious about, as it's one of our best.
Don't tell him your Pike :D
