All I say with footballers, is that insults and jibes occur as much on the pitch as off them. It comes across as a bit rich sometimes, when they moan about the way they're ridiculed.
They do it wind each other up and try to upset a players concentration and composure.
Like Ratts is saying though, sometimes that boundary is crossed with race jibes or even comments about the opponents wife or kids.
So as far as terrace flak goes. Yes I'll stop when they stop.
Human nature says, insults do get a rise. Perhaps they should think about that, when they're winding supporters up.
But I'm talking predominantly the stuff away from a game ... cyber bulling and the relentless pursuit of players today.
Not of a personal nature tho. To comment on performance etc and how much work rate someone puts in is that fair game tho. The line could really draw back here to being censorship. I know again I have worked with some high flying premadonnas but if I were to go round publicly saying about there performance at work I would be stepping over a line!Quote:

But the personal stuff why? Not every footballer is on a fortune. There are a few I know on here that in their professions can easily out earn some of our first team squad. People are mentioning PL

You can insult another persons intelligence but you can't call someone a knob - where is the line? ;D
