No one available at Palmy for comment at the moment but information I have is that snow will be cleared for the match - I would imagine the snow will act as a natural blanket against the frost which is the main danger to artificial pitches - will try and get some up to date information later.

They were struggling big-time at the foot of the Premier League and we were hitting form after a disastrous start to our First Division campaign. The signing of Peter Dickson in November 1975 provided the catalyst for what was a decent squad to start performing to their potential.
We took a 2 goal lead within about 15/20 mins - both scored by Jocky Dempster - and looked comfortable.
I can't quite remember if we went 3 up or if they pegged us back 2nd half to 2-2 but it turned out to be a close, nervy finish.
We played in all white that day and I imagine the team would have been Ball, Miller, McChesney, McLaren, Clark and Boyd; Dempster, Dickson P., Reid, O'Hara and Dickson G. Subs possibly Donald and Thorburn.

Enough of the negativity guys, I am driving up from Englandshire for my first visit in 8 yrs!

Are they certain that it is ok to clear the snow like that without damaging the pitch?
