"These people" and "these extremists" You are correct they are just People or extremists living a lie, they don't live by Muslim laws/rules, because nowhere in the Koran does it say behead or burn to death someone, nowhere does it say to take families with small children out of their cars and shoot them for fun.

All of which in my mind makes them idiotic fools with an agenda far and beyond Muslim faith, they have a strong desire to kill, invade and conquer all that stand in their way, the vengeance against the west is just an excuse, and their reading of the Muslim faith is a total lie.
