Your right Alf we had a good chance on breaking the top 6 last season especially in comparison how we finished the season before
Gary bowyer is a stability manager which this season we are going to be very glad to have him in charge

If we hadn't been one of the only clubs in the division (the other two are bigger and finished well below us, one, Forest speant much more than us)with an embargo, than I'd agree. As it was we spent the majority of the season unable to add anything to a squad that hadnt been good enough at any point in the past to go up. Unsure what real chance we had? Did you miss the embargo? You mustve been off in your caravan?? >:)Quote:

No embargo at little old Burnley and they achieved promotion twice. They get stronger and stronger as we get weaker and weaker.

In all honesty though, if GB was representing BFC I am fairly certain that Alfs take on him could be quite different.

Seems to me he's already making all the excuses under the sun before the season starts. Perhaps he's beginning to Despair ...Despair. :)
