"You winning the last post thread is a bit of a rip off then isn't it Tundra?
I thought that was just for insomniacs B) "
What can I say, les, I have always been open on here about the 8 hour time difference and the advantage it gives me. TBH, though, I am usually up before 5:00 a.m. my time so even if we were in the same time zone I would still have a good run at it.
Time at present is 4:41 a.m. PST!

re: Where have
To be fair Tundra, it looks like you have wonderful scenery/wildlife on your doorstep to wake up early for :-)

re: Where have
Nothing like the views in the Borough of Pendle..

re: Where have

And Tundra, thats quite a secret about your past. Who else did you share or not share a school with ? ;)
And BW, Ive spent a lot of time myself on the M62, dont knock it!!

re: Where have
Nobody famous or notorious, Acido...a pretty boring lot really. Though I have taught a number of children of well-known actors and ice hockey stars.

re: Where have
Well I shared a school with Paul Newman and Michael Caine..... not the real ones of course, these were kids who just happened to be called that back in the late 70s.:D
I did however goto the same school as Reece Dinsdale, a popular actor from my hometown of Normanton - West Yorks. (my mam knew his mam actually, for what its worth :) )

re: Where have
Ruddy hell acido, really? Small world, my dad was born and raised in Normanton and my grandparents lived there pretty much all their lives. I have fond memories of the place, and was there a couple of months ago visiting the memorial garden before treating my parents to tea at the Wetherby Whaler.
Good luck to the Tykes this evening, think you might pull off a shock (fingers crossed).
Hi to everyone on here, hope you're all well.

re: Where have
Yes its a small unheard of town is Normy, unless your actually from there or Cas-Wakey-Ponty-Feath. Thats what makes it all the more surprising to hear your family connections with the town. So where did the Burnsley thing come from, was your dad ever tempted to go and support Barnsley or even worse.... Leeds ? :D
As for tonights match, I think it was a cracking cup tie and Im happy that we really gave Everton a tough one.
