He certainly isn't going to take a massive drop to come to Rotherham, so it will then come down to do Wednesday want to pay him £x/week to get him to move rather than having him sat around the place paying the full £y/week?

According to the Scottish Sun Hibs are in top level talks with Wednesday about a loan deal - if his move to Forest stalls.
Difficult to get excited about this. As others have said, we are likely to lose out and, if we do, does it really matter?

May would be a very good buy at £500 000. People talk about strength, fitness, pace, etc. All those things can be improved with training and playing. But the ability to score goals is God-given, and May has that. Signing the finished article is extremely difficult and ruinously costly at this level, so Rotherham will have to sign a development player like May. Frankly, I'd put May up front with Forestieri, but that ain't gonna happen now at S6. Roeder doesn't fancy him, so that's that. Anyway, good luck with the bid.

I'd be delighted if we signed him but I'm pretty sure it won't happen and the usual excuses will be trotted out.
