IMO I'd sell at that price, ye she has scored goals in the past, but we have had him in his prime, he is a one trick pony and wasn't that effective last season and whilst i will probably be proven wrong, don't consider he will be a key player this season.
CM has been our top scorer for the lat 3 seasons. He is a capped international. When we lost him to injury our goals dried up and we faded badly. We have Bent and Blackman who don't score goals anywhere near as regularly as Martin. We are trying to change the system of play which doesn't suit Martin' strengths.Quote:

People soon forget Ella. One relatively poor season and its get rid. I hope he stays and if he does and gets picked he'll be great for us. Unfortunately I heard a few days before the bid that he'd had a bust up with Pearson so he may go, either way I'm sure he will prove swale and many others wrong.

I don't think there's been much wrong with Martin, our problem has been our laboured, predictable approach and over reliance on Martin. All that has ever been needed is a change to a faster paced and pressing game. There is no reason why a change should lead to less possession and inaccurate passing.
If we were going to get rid of him we should be bringing in someone else to suit the new game plan. Maybe that is occurring? Who knows :s

Football is part-art, part science. As Steve McClaren is quoted as saying "Don't tinker; leave the players to play, and Derby County will go up". I suspect there's tinkering going on for tinkering's sake. :s
