I too loved the Enid Blyton books and the Hobbit, LOTR - the Silmarillion though is bloody hard work!
I love a good crime thriller these days, Jo Nesbo, Tess Gerritsen, and RJ Ellory all write pulsating reads to take on your hols.
For some reason too the various football hooligan books draw me in, I grew up in the 80's and never got involved, in fact I'd be the first to leg it away from danger, but the psychology of human behaviour, belonging and togetherness fascinates me.
Read quite a few autobiographies too, Paul McGrath, Doug Ellis, Frank Skinner, Fergie are all inspiring.
Very clever Exiled.
