Palmy Lad - what year was the first advert featured above as I see it says KING STREET ?

"Try them for yourself and be convinced of this statement". A wee piece of history in itself that sentence. And Whist Drives too. Oh how the times have changed. I have, somewhere, a brochure that was made for the opening of the Lyceum that also paints a picture of the town in bygone days. Been meaning to scan it for ages and am now inspired to do so..

The reason I ask is that the huge building which stretches from Munches Street along Queensberry Street to the corner of Great King Street is up for sale at an auction in London.
