JCH should be offered a new contract with the transfer fee we paid and given he's still very young it would be ludicrous to let him go because if he goes to another team and starts banging the goals in that could be several millions flushed down the toilet.

JCH is all about potential. Sadly he needs to show alot before any contract - he has no track record and appears to be all physical attributes but physical without a bit of nouse is not good.....ok perhaps in league one. The contract option is in our favour which means that we can exercise it at any time until it expires. From the club's point of view it makes sense to wait as long as possible to make sure that the player has made a full recovery and is raring to go for league 1. That is a little harsh on the player to leave him hanging but given his variable attitude in the past, I don't think he can expect anything else.
