Let's hope it's "consolidation", rather than "freefall"

Does anybody stop & think on here. George Hirst sounds a good loan signing but he's a Da Ball/Yates build type player. We aren't going to sign 2 forwards so JCH has got to stop, cover for Moore. When this transfer window closes Thursday night no loan deals can be done till next January. So lets get the players in this window. Don't want to end scraping the barrel again for out of contract players ie Blackstock.
I don't stop and think gwru because it means doing two things at the same time.
JCH has got to stay I agree with you on that. I was surprised a little when he came on Saturday. I was also surprised how he was so easily stopped from playing. He needs space in front of him to go into.
I don't want loan players in. I want permanent signings that we can see playing for 3 years as Millers or be sold for profit to enable the club to further itself.
Moore is a great signing but although we'll benefit from him whilst he's on loan he'll be gone and we'll be left with a hole in the team difficult to fill as we won't have the means to replace him other than another loan player.
Whilst Proctor, our permanent player is sidelined for a while we should use the loan system but as we already have Moore I would prefer us to play one of our own players and develop them rather than get a youth player from another team to develop for someone else.
I speak for each section of the pitch here i.e. one loan player in defence, midfield and attack maximum.
Warnes interviews come across so negative, yes we know it is hard to get last minute deals in but you have a full time employee at the club whose sole job it is to identify and line up deals. We should have a pipeline of prospects that we have already had discussions with the agents so we know what is required to get them. There are too many excuses in Warnes interviews generally add to that cannot he not see we need another strong battling central midfielder to break down attacks, Frecks isnt his best in that defensive role and Potter needs help.
