Not to completely rain on Huttons parade credit where it’s due,but I think a nod to Albert is also worthy in the defensive covering role he’s
displayed which I feel as helped Hutton to perform so well

Well to give an honest assessment on any player, then you have to look at his overall contribution over a substantial period of time. Shall we say, 6 years and 120 odd games?

He is at right back EV. But, he's been great at LB. To think we have had years of turmoil at left back and now Englands best two left backs are apparently Ashley Young and Fabian Delph! Now Hutton shows up as a world beater.
Very true Statesie, he’s been excellent every time he has played out of position at LB. You could argue that he’s used to playing out of position and that SB has been using reverse psychology. He tells Nessie pre match that he’s playing at RB, in the hope that he reverts to type and wonders out of position to LB. Also during the match, SB and JT refrain from b0ll0cking him for being out of position, simples.
